Gentle Therapy for Children
Dr. Ingfried Hobert co-author of the book "Essences of Love" has worked for many years with Love Remedies. The following are some case studies involving Love Remedies.
Warts on feet, arms and hands
Diagnosis
A 12-year-old girl had suffered since one year of age from two large warts on her foot as well some small warts on the arms and the hands. Some years ago she had an accident at home resulting in third degree burns to her lower arm. Skin transplants were necessary in a specialised clinic. Several big scars are visible on the lower arm. The parents say that the girl suffers a lot due to these disfiguring scars.
The girl appears shy and fearful, speaks only very softly, appears uncertain and is over-cautious in her movements.
Therapy
Warts are from the psychological view connected with emotional blockages like self-denial and inadequate self-trust. The use (internally and externally) of Thuja tincture was recommended as well as Love Remedies.
The girl picked intuitively the remedy "Worrai". She chose exactly the flower that represented her problem at that moment.
Outcome
At the next visit 2 weeks later, the mother reported that her daughter, normally very word-shy now spoke freely. She reports now a lot about happenings in school, something she did not do before. Her voice is also stronger and her presentation is self-confident.
At the next visit another 2 weeks later, the girl came without her mother from her school to the clinic. She reported with a clear and self-confident voice that the warts on the feet had disappeared and that she was planning to do a self-defence course with some of her friends in the near future. Overall, she had many ideas about what she wants to do in the near future.
By taking the Worrai remedy, the girl’s blockages which had been hindering her, vanished, enabling her to be the girl she wanted to be and which she could be. In this way she was able to develop her potential, which showed immediately in her stronger self-confidence. The foundation of these subconscious feelings of self-denial and self-hate had been removed.
Hyperactive child
Diagnosis
An 8-year-old hyperactive boy comes to the clinic. The parents say that their boy is nervous, restless, can not concentrate at all, is unable to occupy himself even for short periods of time, he interrupts the parent’s conversations and constantly demands attention.
A slim boy with glasses, he occupied a chair immediately so that his mother was unable to sit down, but jumped up within a short time to take accessories from the doctor’s table. During the consultation and despite persistent warnings he constantly interrupted the discussion.
Therapy
This was a clear case for Love Remedies. The boy chose Jacaranda remedy and without asking, immediately selected a second one which was Coral Tree.
Outcome
The family visited again after 3 weeks and reported an enormous change in the boy’s behaviour. While he seemed before to be highly stressed, he now appeared to be balanced and more systematic in his activities. He was now able to focus and this gave his actions a structure. The boy remained seated during the whole consultation and was well behaved, but made no comments about his feelings. Two weeks later the family again visited the clinic for consultation. They reported that the teacher told them that their son had suddenly shown more attention and concentration during lessons. He also showed willingness to participate in teamwork.
The boy chose the two Love Remedies most appropriate to his condition, removing the blockages that pushed the boy to compulsive actions. These actions blocked his creative potential.
